Conversation Enemies on the First Date

If there are tips on what to talk on a first date, there are also some wait-slow-down topics not to include on the list. It's good to share, but keep in mind that you are not talking to your Mom or your bestfriend who knows everything about what you're trying to say. If you believe that first impressions somehow last, this is the right time to make one.
Marriage or Divorce - it's too early to talk about how you two are going into these things, or whatever are your views about them. Don't be too desperate or negative in the first meeting. Just let each other discover more while looking forward to more dates in the future.
Past relationships - you know, past is past and it is bound to forgetting. I see no sense in bringing up about your ex-lovers whether you had a good relationship or not. Take note that we all hate comparing ourselves to another person.
Problems in the family - we do not want introducing ourselves like we came from a chaotic family (even it may be really is) before a special someone becomes a part of our own lives. Hesitation can somehow develop in here brought about by pressure fixing those problems first before both of you can enjoy the relationship together.
Work – almost all of us can admit that we are not happy on the job we're in. A freaking boss, a gossiper officemate, an insufficient salary, or whatever reasons may be, get control and do not burst out. Your date does not want a hot-headed and a complaining partner in the long run.
Insecurities - if it's about yourself, keep it. If it's about dating, relationships, or if true love exists or not, do the same thing. Remember, why are you dating in the first place? Perhaps you can change your perceptions now. Appreciate your date’s company.
Your friends - most especially their secrets. First, you do not have the right to share them to someone you barely know. Second, you have the right to remain silent. And I'm sure your date will feel a little intimidated figuring out why are you telling others' life when the interest must be on both of you. Plus, your friends also trust you that enough, do not break it no matter how too personal or shameful the issues are.
Money - a saying goes like this, "When hunger knocks at your door, love goes out of your window." If this is one of your concerns on the first date, slow down. How much is not the question to be asked first because love is not measured through it.

Illnesses - perhaps your allergies can be brought up especially when ordering food for dinner, but going over through your medical record or history, it would not be ideal on the first date. If you have a serious illness, avoid thinking that you would not be accepted. You want to enjoy the night and not to add more self-pity, that's it.
